If you remember movies such as Chariots of Fire, Platoon, Terms of Endearment and others, than you know about the 1980’s which was one of the most memorable times in most people’s lives, particularly those who were young. There were many different styles of dresses that were considered very fashionable during that era. Some were very short with huge skirts of netting, gathered at the waist. Very short dresses in shiny material with long sleeves, wide at the wrist, were very popular. Madonna made a number of fancy dresses popular, one of which was black and backless with a band around the neck and a flared skirt.
You only need to take a look at the styles of the 80’s and a fashion magazine of today and you would think that era is back. If you still have clothes in your closet from that period of time, pull them out and you will be considered in the latest style. In addition to being stylish, think of the money you have saved.
